A stucco certification obtained at the Stucco Institute allows the holder to apply our elite sealed stucco system– a stucco system that has been regionally adapted to suit Florida’s Zones 1, 2, and 3, as defined by the International Energy Conservation Code. The stucco in these zones is particularly susceptible to stressful conditions such as high-wind storm events and high airborne salt concentration. The sealed stucco system is essential to address the needs of the Florida stucco industry while advocating for the advancement of accurate, applicable trade standards and information.
